1. Overview
Lunera is designed with privacy as a core principle.
The app does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything created or entered within Lunera remains on your device.Lunera does not require user accounts, does not include tracking or analytics, and does not use external servers—except OpenAI and Gemini for cloud rendering.
2. Data Collection
Lunera does not collect any personal information, including: Name or email address, Demographic data, Images, prompts, or text input, Device identifiers or location data, Contacts, Usage analytics or diagnostics, Financial information except credit card to purchase Lunera. No user data is transmitted from the app.
3. Local Data Storage
All prompts, settings, and temporary data are stored locally on your device.
Lunera does not collect, store, or share this data.
When you use cloud rendering (such as OpenAI or Gemini), your prompt and any required inputs are transmitted to the selected service to generate the image. This transmission is necessary for the rendering process.
Outside of these user-initiated requests, no data is uploaded or shared.
All locally stored data remains on your device and is removed when the app is uninstalled.
4. AI & Third-Party Services
Lunera does not include its own hosted AI models. If you choose to use external services (such as OpenAI, Gemini, or other AI platforms), any data sent is handled directly by those services and is subject to their respective privacy policies. Lunera does not transmit data to external services except when explicitly initiated by the user.
5. Internet Access
Lunera only accesses the internet when you choose to:
Use cloud rendering (e.g., OpenAI or Gemini) or, Open external documentation or support links. The app does not send background data during normal operation.

Lunera is not intended for children under 13. Because no personal data is collected, the app aligns with COPPA privacy standards.
